The Mountain Yoga Experience
The goal at Mountain Yoga is to continue to offer students an environment where yoga is focused on physical and emotional well being in an uplifting, stress free environment. The yoga practice is customized to meet the varied and individual needs of all students.
Walking into the studio is like walking into the welcoming arms of a friend. Once inside, the studio the physical benefits of yoga nourish the body, while the calming effects on the mind let the spirit soar.
Mountain Yoga was born and raised in Mariposa. The studio is preparing to celebrate 10 years of keeping the people of Mariposa healthy. It is locally owned and possesses a strong sense of community.
Mountain Yoga takes place not only in its studio, but also in a number of venues in the community. Mountain Yoga has extensive community outreach and service, having provided instruction to the Mariposa Elementary and Mariposa Middle School afterschool programs, classes at Cathey’s Valley and Woodland Elementary School, and specialized programs for the Mariposa County High School football, basketball and wrestling programs and Mariposa Middle School baseball program.
